About the Position

Svenska kraftnät is responsible for ensuring that the Swedish power system is sustainable, secure, and cost-effective, now and for future generations. In our journey towards these goals, we are now seeking a resource to support the ongoing work of reviewing and defining IT security architecture and protective measures for existing and new systems to be deployed.

As a Solution Architect, you will be offered a complex, exciting, and learning environment where there is an opportunity to develop within modern technologies in both IT and OT.

You will participate in planning for the development and adaptation of IT security in IT systems and infrastructure solutions together with our development and management teams, where part of your work will consist of producing and presenting descriptions of IT security architecture within various IT architecture forums.

In the role of Solution Architect, you will be part of the IT Security Governance unit within the IT Security department at Division IT. The unit is responsible for developing governance and guidance for the implementation of IT security in the organization's IT systems to enhance the ability to meet today's and tomorrow's threats and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop design documents and solution descriptions for IT security architecture integrated into IT systems.
Ensure that the IT security solutions developed are tailored to Svenska kraftnät's existing IT environment and meet the needs of the organization.
Support technical decisions – develop various alternative solution proposals as well as risk and impact analyses.
Ensure compatibility of the developed IT security architecture in relation to the current target architecture and architectural principles.
Ensure that proposed IT security solutions comply with applicable legal requirements and regulations in the area.
Communicate and document the established IT security architecture.
Participate in information classification, system classification, as well as risk and vulnerability analyses and threat modeling.

Your role is crucial for maintaining Sweden's electricity supply stable and future-proof. Through your work, you help ensure that Sweden neither goes dark nor stands still.

About You

Furthermore, you have a relevant university degree in IT, engineering, or another equivalent education or corresponding competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät assesses as equivalent.

You also have:

At least 5 years of current and relevant experience in solution architecture for security solutions in IT systems.
Experience in designing and implementing security solutions.
Knowledge of and several years of experience in compliance with security standards such as ISO 27000, CIS Controls, and other frameworks in cybersecurity.
Work experience in system design or similar architectural roles in accordance with established methods, tools, and processes such as TOGAF, SABSA.
Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

We consider the following as meritorious:

Certification in IT architecture and security, e.g., CISSP or TOGAF.
Experience with security solutions for integration between IT/OT environments.
Work experience in security-sensitive operations.
Experience working in the public sector.
Work experience in electricity supply and/or power transmission.

The position is located in Stockholm/Sundbyberg.
Opportunity for remote work up to 50% #LI-hybrid.
Travel is required for this position.
