Support Technician Service Desk

Do you want to work closely with the network, which is the digital backbone of society? As a Support Technician in the Service Desk at GlobalConnect, you help ensure stable and reliable communication for our B2B customers – every day.

About the Role

In the role of Support Technician in the day team, you work at the heart of our network operations. You handle alarms, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure our services are available when society needs them.

You work together with colleagues in the Service Desk and 24/7 team and are responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordinating cases. The pace can be high, and you manage multiple parallel cases simultaneously – always with a focus on quality and the customer.

Your Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot network issues within Fortinet, SD-WAN, routing, and security
  • Handle customer incidents during alarms or outages
  • Support customers, colleagues, and subcontractors via the case management system
  • Eskalate and distribute cases for proper prioritization and workload distribution
  • Document and produce reports (RFO/RCA) during major incidents
  • Contribute to the improvement of routines and working methods within the Service Desk

To Succeed in This Role, You Need

  • Relevant education in networking, preferably at a university level
  • CCNA certification or strong motivation to obtain CCNA
  • 1–2 years of experience from Service Desk, Help Desk, or similar technical support role
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You are structured, responsible, and analytical. You have a clear customer focus and enjoy collaborating with others, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
