We are now looking for supervisors for this year's summer workers in the Parks Department!

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a working supervisor for summer workers with us, you will primarily plan and lead our summer workers and assist with outdoor tasks. You will transport the summer workers between different workplaces and ensure that the tasks are completed. Tasks for the summer workers include weeding, litter picking, painting, and minor jobs in municipal parks. Regular supervisors will support you in your tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with youth and practical skills.

We prefer that you are pedagogical, social, and enjoy working in a team. A B driver's license is required.

The positions are full-time from week 25 to week 33, with the first three weeks being an introduction. From week 28 to week 33, you will work alongside two supervisors who will each manage a group of four youths. You need to be available to work during the selected period. Please note that both positions have introduction weeks in weeks 25-27, where we are flexible with time off if desired. During the period of weeks 28-33, you must be able to work full weeks.
