Your Mission

As a recess supervisor, you are responsible for creating safe, active, and inclusive recess for students in grades F-6. You will plan and lead daily recess activities and ensure that all students have the opportunity to participate. Together with the school's staff, you will work preventively, supportively, and relationship-building to promote a positive and safe recess culture. The role requires that you enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.

We are a Generation Pep school and actively work to promote movement and health. In your role, you are expected to keep the school's work with Generation Pep alive by applying, inspiring health and movement, and collaborating with teachers.

In the afternoons, you will work at the after-school club for middle school students. Together with a colleague, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the activities. You will be part of the after-school working group and a development group that drives the development of recess, recess environment, and the pedagogical work of the after-school program. The role also includes daily contact with guardians and participation in after-school meetings, information meetings, student councils, and school councils.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• planning and leading recess activities such as games, sports, and creative activities
• communicating continuously about the recess activities via digital forums
• being a link between lower and middle school
• being responsible for purchasing materials for the schoolyard and outdoor activities
• being present on the schoolyard and supporting students in social situations
• preventing and handling conflicts in a professional manner
• ensuring inclusion and safety for all students
• collaborating with students, teachers, after-school staff, and student health

Your Experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• education as a leisure leader, activity leader, childcare worker, or other pedagogical education deemed equivalent by the employer
• experience working with children or youth, preferably in a school environment
• good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• good digital competence

It is an advantage if you also have:

• experience from after-school programs, primary school, or community life
• experience leading activities for children of different ages
• experience supporting students with diabetes
• interest in sports and outdoor life
• knowledge of how to meet students with NPF diagnoses
