We are looking for additional staff for our assistant group as one of our assistants will be on parental leave. The position includes both day shifts, evenings, and weekends part-time/full-time. Schedule according to agreement. We are also looking for someone who can work extra weekends and fill in as needed.

You will work as a personal assistant for a wheelchair-bound 27-year-old girl with cerebral palsy and autism who lives in her own apartment in Värmdö (about a 30-minute bus ride from Slussen). The client has some medical needs such as tube feeding, a cough machine, and we also use a ceiling lift for transfers. She is non-verbal and uses picture support. She has personal assistance around the clock and attends a daily activity program on certain days of the week.

Role and Experience of the Assistant

We want you to have experience working as a personal assistant or equivalent experience so you understand what it means to work with individuals with special needs. Care education is a merit, but personal suitability is the most important. You should enjoy working with people, be responsible, and have good patience. Having a childlike spirit is also a good trait. The client is primarily looking for female assistants due to care needs.

It is important that you master Swedish in both spoken and written form to assist with communication and documentation.

You will, of course, receive the introduction and training you need to perform your work in a safe and secure manner. Hourly employment according to the agreement with Fremia/Kommunal. References are required. Start date 1/3 2026.
