Substitute Teachers Wanted at Pysslingen Preschools

We are currently looking for substitute teachers for our lovely preschools Björngården and Grönkulla in Södermalm. Do you enjoy having fun at work, like to work flexibly, and are interested in working with children aged 1-5? Don’t hesitate to send us your application!

About the Role

As a substitute teacher at Pysslingen Preschools, you will work in groups with children aged 1-5. The need may arise for both short-term replacements and longer substitute positions if necessary. This means an opportunity for flexible work where your availability is key.

Your tasks include conducting activities both indoors and outdoors, as well as assisting regular educators with practical tasks.

If hired as a substitute, you should be able to step in at short notice during the absence of regular staff. Therefore, it is required that you are responsible and have a great ability to be flexible, as the work involves quickly adapting to new environments. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language and be able to collaborate easily as well as work independently within a team, and have the ability to contribute to a functioning operation together with your colleagues.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a high school diploma or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Has good collaboration skills
• Believes that every meeting is significant
• Is curious and exploratory
• Wants to learn alongside the children
• Is attentive and respectful
• Focuses on the assignment and the children

It is an advantage if you have a degree as a childcare worker and/or previous experience working in preschool.

Employment Type

The position is a general fixed-term employment with hourly pay.

Hours as needed.

Start date according to agreement.
