Lilla Alby School is a F-6 school with approximately 500 students. Our operations are based on a holistic view where safety, joy at work, and respect are seen as essential prerequisites for learning and development. The school is centrally located in Sundbyberg, close to tram, bus, subway, and commuter train. The school has purpose-built classrooms for art, music, and home economics, as well as a beautiful school library. The playground of the white building is designed to encourage play and is well-suited for the lower grades. The playground of the red building features a popular multi-sport area where older students engage in various ball sports and other activities. This direct proximity to Tuvan Park is a great asset for the entire school during breaks and in after-school activities. We are looking for several substitutes, both teachers and after-school staff. The tasks for a substitute in the after-school program include pedagogical work in preschool classes, school, and after-school care, as well as break activities. You will collaborate in class during school hours where the responsible teacher distributes the work. This may involve supporting students individually, in groups, or being responsible for a half-class. You will supervise during breaks and work in after-school care in the afternoons.

We want you to have a strong interest in working with children and youth, and to understand the importance of being a good role model. You are positive and find it easy to collaborate and connect with both children and adults. As a substitute, it is an advantage if you are stress-resistant and flexible and can easily adapt to new conditions since the needs of the operations are constantly changing and always prioritized.

The position as a substitute means that you will be contacted when there is a need for substitutes. We need both substitutes who want to work 3-5 days/week or longer assignments. The application deadline is January 31. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.

Before employment, the employer will request a police clearance certificate.

Additional Information

A large part of our operations is classified as essential community services. The position may be designated for military placement within the framework of Sundbyberg's role in total defense.
