We belong to the care and social administration, which is one of our six administrations in Lidingö municipality. With us, approximately 800 employees work to support our residents in all stages of life. We work with elderly care, social psychiatry, disability services, and individual and family care. We always put the individual's needs at the center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the unit for Financial Assistance, we are responsible for investigating the right to financial assistance. With us, you will work with social change and motivational work for individuals who are without their own means of support for various reasons. You will be responsible for investigating, assessing, and making decisions about the right to financial assistance in accordance with applicable legislation.

In your role as a social worker, you will meet, support, and motivate clients on their way to self-sufficiency. You will follow up on interventions and work solution-focused together with the client.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. Previous experience working with financial assistance is an asset. You should have knowledge of the legislation applied and good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish.

You are confident in your role, have good collaboration skills, and contribute to a positive work environment. In the role of social worker, you should be structured, have good judgment, problem-solving skills, and be expected to actively participate in the development work of the unit to achieve operational goals.

OTHER

The position is a fixed-term employment for 6 months (possibly extendable). Full-time with a monthly salary.

The municipality applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement.
