Ljungbyholm School is located in the locality of Ljungbyholm just south of Kalmar. We are the school in the community, and in Ljungbyholm, students can complete their entire schooling, from preschool to grade 9. There is also a school library and youth center.

Ljungbyholm School offers preschool class, primary school grades 1–6, and after-school care. We have about 280 students and 35 staff members. We have a large schoolyard that invites creative breaks.

Ljungbyholm School has a close collaboration with Linnaeus University's teacher education program, and each academic year we welcome students who are undergoing a practice-integrated education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Work as a pedagogical assistant in primary school and after-school care. You will support students in need of special support during the school day and in after-school care, which requires commitment, flexibility, and close collaboration with other educators.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a relevant educational background and/or experience working with students in need of special support. As a person, you are secure and confident and have the ability to meet the student based on their needs. You find it easy to collaborate with students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In collaboration with the teaching teacher, you will create opportunities for the student to develop in their knowledge acquisition. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the student to develop their abilities and create opportunities for learning.
