The Primary Care Area South consists of Teg, Hörnefors, and Nordmaling health centers. Hörnefors is part of Umeå municipality with about 4000 inhabitants. We have over 3700 registered patients, and the health center is located 30 km from Umeå. It is easy to reach Hörnefors by car, bus, or the Botniabanan train. We offer a stimulating and developing job with great variety.

At Hörnefors health center, you will work in a well-functioning team and come to a workplace with a big heart and good cohesion. We want to be accessible and provide our patients with engaged care and good treatment. With us, patients with most health conditions receive support to improve their health.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a junior doctor with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

As a junior doctor at Hörnefors health center, you will gain knowledge and experience of working in primary care and within the specialty of general medicine. We have extensive experience in mentoring and have a working method that allows you to develop as a doctor. We are committed to ensuring that junior doctors with us experience support and guidance, as we know it is important in the role. We focus on continuity, patient safety, and quality.

You will work independently with your own clinic and meet patients of all ages with various health-related issues, with experienced doctors available for support when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We primarily seek someone with a Swedish medical license, but those with a medical degree are also welcome to apply.

You are a present and positive person who, with knowledge and care, sees the patient and contributes to a holistic view that makes the care process better and safer. You enjoy collaborating and being there for others. You function well within the working methods and flows we have in primary care, are self-driven, and can take responsibility for your workday.

You have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. We consider experience in primary care at a health center as an advantage.
