The Rehab/Stroke department is part of the Medical Center of Southern Lapland and is one of three care departments at Lycksele Hospital. At the hospital, we maintain a close collaboration with primary and emergency care throughout Southern Lapland. We are a small hospital with great opportunities! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you want to contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure and involved.

In the Rehab/Stroke department, we have 16 care places for patients who:

• have suffered a stroke
• need orthopedic or general rehabilitation
• are undergoing hip and knee prosthesis surgery (in collaboration with the Surgical Center).

With us, you will work in a well-functioning team consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, and dietitians.

You will participate in the care and medical management of the patient in close collaboration with other professional categories in our multidisciplinary team. Your work is very varied, and you will work in stroke, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and palliative care. We are constantly working to develop care, where our clinic vision reflects our work - Soft hands, sharp minds, warm hearts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.

We want you to be engaged, responsible, and have a strong team spirit, see opportunities and solutions since you have an important role in our team. You have the ability to prioritize between different tasks. The work requires you to have good collaboration skills and high flexibility. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
