At the Cancer Center, about 400 people work in care that spans from advanced cancer treatment to palliative care. Research and development are important parts for us and a prerequisite for continuing to develop cutting-edge care. At the Cancer Center ward (CAVA), we treat people who have been diagnosed with cancer or hematological conditions. By 2026, we aim to become Sweden's sixth Comprehensive Cancer Center, an accredited facility with European standards in cancer care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure.

You will develop a broad competence as we have a large variety of patients in highly specialized care. We meet patients in everything from acute situations to those at the end of life.

You will work with specialized tasks in the form of advanced medication treatments such as chemotherapy and immunological treatment. In the hematology section, we also perform stem cell transplants. You will care for patients with symptoms resulting from both the cancer disease and/or treatment, making the care very varied.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse who has an interest in cancer care and wants to develop in your professional role. We want you to have a good approach. You thrive in a team environment where humility is key to helping, learning, and uplifting each other. You can identify care needs and initiate appropriate measures. You have the ability to be flexible, meticulous, and structured to take responsibility and prioritize tasks. You have an interest in developing care that is delivered close to the patient.

Working hours: AB, modified 3-3 model offered after three months of full-time work if everything goes as planned.
