Temporary Care Staff for Prästsjögården

The elderly care in Umeå municipality aims to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through closeness and interaction.

Prästsjögården care and nursing home has 70 apartments divided into six units. Prästsjögården is located in the scenic sculpture park in the Umedalen area, which invites outdoor activities in a beautiful environment. Each unit has a large outdoor terrace or balcony that is used as soon as the weather permits.

We are now looking for several temporary care staff for our operations!

Your Responsibilities

You will assist the residents with personal care and, upon delegation from the responsible nurse, perform medical tasks. Your responsibilities also include documenting actions and health status.

You will work based on the assignment as a contact person, where the residents' participation is in focus. In this way, you ensure that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan.

The positions are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in dementia care. If you are a trained nursing assistant or caregiver, it is an advantage, as well as if you have previously worked in elderly care.

Your interaction with residents requires good competence based on personal suitability, maturity, and empathetic ability. You demonstrate great commitment to both users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals. Personal suitability is of great importance.

To communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Smoking and pets are present in the home, so you should not be allergic.
