JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to make a real difference? Take the chance and express your interest in becoming a support family under LSS for a preschool-aged child! As a support family, you open your home for a predetermined number of days each month. Together with the guardians, you plan which days suit best. In your home, the child receives safety, community, and fun activities based on their needs, wishes, and conditions. You also become an important support for the guardians in the form of relief, an extra resource that makes a real difference.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a support family, it is important that you have a stable everyday life. For this task, in addition to creating a safe and trusting relationship, the focus is on providing a meaningful and stimulating environment with activities suitable for a child of the relevant age. The goal is to carry out activities such as outdoor play, excursions, and other everyday situations by providing practical support in certain areas due to a physical disability. The assignment thus involves enabling participation. Continuity is also crucial for the success of the assignment. Therefore, it is desirable that you can remain available over time.

Lastly, it is also advantageous if you have work or personal experience in meeting individuals in need of physical support.

To obtain the assignment as a support family, an investigation will be conducted where information about your various life areas is collected. References and extracts from the criminal record are also requested. It is preferred that you live in or near Mullsjö. You should work well in collaboration with the social services as the contracting authority and have the ability for transparent and constructive communication and coordination with guardians, as well as work towards agreed goals.

Other

Regarding compensation, reimbursement and fees will be paid based on SKR guidelines and final assessment by Mullsjö municipality. There is also the opportunity to receive guidance and regular check-ins to provide support in the execution.

Guardians or other relatives are responsible for dropping off and picking up at your home as the support family. They are also responsible for providing pocket money for activities such as entrance fees, cinema, or similar.

A B driver's license is required.

Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
