Support Technician at JENSEN education

Do you have a genuine interest in IT and enjoy solving problems and helping others? With a positive attitude and a keen eye for technology, you want to grow in an environment where you make a difference every day. Then you might be the one we are looking for to join our team!

JENSEN education is one of Sweden's leading private education companies. We are steadily growing, with a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and a culture where knowledge and responsibility go hand in hand. Now you have the chance to become an important part of our ongoing work to run some of the country's best schools and preschools.

About the Role

As a support technician with us, you will have a broad and varied role in a smaller team with great opportunities for personal development. You will be based at our headquarters in Gamla Stan, but the role also involves traveling to our schools where you will meet users on-site and work hands-on with their IT environment.

Your responsibilities include:

  • First and second line IT support to our employees via phone, email, and on-site
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment (e.g., projectors, networks, computers)
  • Troubleshooting, documentation, and follow-up of cases
  • Support in working with Google Workspace, as well as Microsoft and Apple environments
  • Contribute with improvement suggestions regarding routines and systems

You will work closely with our IT manager and other staff functions, a perfect environment for you who want to grow in your role and learn from experienced colleagues.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is curious, solution-oriented, and enjoys helping others. You have a natural drive, want to constantly develop, and have an exceptional sense of service.

We also want you to:

  • Have a genuine interest in IT and technology
  • Be self-driven and enjoy working in a team
  • Communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Have a B driver's license (as travel to our schools is included)

Desirable Qualifications

If you have experience in support work, we see it as an advantage but not a requirement. The most important thing is not exactly how long your experience is, but that you have the willingness, commitment, and right attitude.

We also consider it an advantage if you are practically inclined and handy, as the role may involve some technical installation such as setting up projectors, whiteboards, and other equipment in our premises. Experience with similar tasks or an interest in simpler installation work is therefore a plus.

With us, you get more than just a job. You become part of a culture characterized by commitment, community, and a strong desire to make a difference, both for our users and for our business.

We Offer You:

  • The opportunity to develop your IT skills and grow in your role
  • Secure employment in a well-established and expanding company
  • A pleasant workplace in the heart of Gamla Stan with proximity to both colleagues and the cozy alleys of the district
  • A work environment where we value collaboration, personal responsibility, and where your ideas and contributions are highly valued

Your Application

You apply by registering your profile and attaching your CV and other relevant documents. We only accept applications via the web; applications submitted in other ways will not be processed. Selection is ongoing, so submit your application today, no later than 27/2-2026. The position may be filled before the application deadline. More information about our recruitment process can be found on our website under job openings.

The first step in the process is that you will complete two psychological tests. The test links will be sent to your email immediately after you submit your application, and you will receive feedback as soon as you have completed them.

If you proceed in the process, we will also ask for a criminal record extract at a later stage.

Employment Type

The position is a permanent employment at 100% with a start date according to agreement. We apply a six-month probationary period.

Location

We are located in bright, pleasant, and modern premises centrally in Gamla Stan, Stockholm. About 30 employees and managers work at the headquarters, of which 8 people are involved with the IT environment of the operations.
