About the Position

Our client lives with his family in the countryside, about 10 km outside Åseda in Uppvidinge municipality. Here, tranquility prevails, and the focus is on being present for our client in all aspects of daily life.

The client is a 67-year-old man with a great interest in nature, gardening, art, film, popular science literature, and natural sciences. He lacks verbal communication but communicates by spelling with blinks. With practice and commitment, it is possible to create a functioning dialogue. The tasks include, among others:

• Personal care
• Medical interventions such as managing trach and respirator
• Support during walks and other calm activities
• You will work closely with our client and his family, making good personal chemistry important.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people with special needs and the ability to see the person behind the disability. You are self-assured, attentive, and meticulous, while also having a desire to learn the tasks and develop in the role. Experience in care work is an advantage but not a requirement.

Since documentation and information transfer are important parts of the job, you need to have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written. There are both a cat and a dog in the home, which means you cannot be allergic to pets. A driver's license and access to a car are required as public transport is not available.

• We offer a one-year temporary position at approximately 75%
• Working hours: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday to Friday
