Your job is important

The area of responsibility covers the entire municipality, which includes both special accommodations and home care. During the day you work as a district nurse, in the evenings and weekends you work municipality-wide. The work is free and independent, and you plan your own days, which requires initiative, responsibility, and professionalism from you. In addition to the patient-centered work, with assessments, examinations, information, and advice, you also have an important role in collaboration with other professional categories such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing staff. Within home care, we have a breadth of different areas of work where you need to have good self-awareness and communication skills.

If you find it stimulating to work both independently and in a team, that’s great, because we are looking for a person with a good ability to guide and inspire the nursing staff you work closely with. You are a licensed nurse who has a holistic view of the patient with innovative and reflective approaches. You enjoy challenges in your work that benefit the development work in the organization. You are comfortable with IT-based journal systems and can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. Any experience from care and nursing is beneficial, but work experience in general is also valuable. A driver's license is a requirement as you often work in the homes of care recipients. You provide them with security.
