About the Operations:

In Härnösand Municipality, there are seven home care groups, including a night patrol, short-term unit, and day activities for people with dementia. The operations are in an exciting phase of development where we are reviewing how home care should be organized for the future.

We also have seven special accommodations throughout Härnösand – both in the city center and in our nature-adjacent areas. Our goal is for each individual to feel well-being, participation, and quality of life in a safe and dignified existence.

About the Position

As a business developer, you will primarily work with strategic improvement work and systematic quality work, as well as contribute with analyses, investigations, and decision-making materials for strategic decisions. Always with a focus on quality and development!

The role is placed within the area of Elderly Care, which includes both home care and special accommodations. You will actively follow developments both nationally and regionally, as well as monitor the areas of responsibility of the committee, with a particular focus on elderly care.

You will also have close collaboration with other support functions, such as staffing controllers, IT business developers, and more.

The content of the position may change over time to meet the needs that arise within the administration.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant post-secondary education or substantial work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• Experience in development and quality work.
• Good knowledge of the laws that underpin the responsibilities of the social committee, e.g., SoL, HSL, LVM, LVU, LSS, etc.

You should also have a good understanding of municipal elderly care. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with quality management systems and if you have experience working in a politically governed organization.
