We are now looking for a temporary library assistant who wants to work within our library operations. Sollefteå main library is centrally located in Sollefteå. We are situated in the historic Apotekshuset right in the city center. We share the fantastic premises with Apotekshuset art and culture, with whom we have a good collaboration. The libraries in Sollefteå include, in addition to the main library, five local libraries in the municipality. These are located in Junsele, Näsåker, Resele, Ramsele, and Långsele.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will participate in the regular library work with a focus on meeting our visitors in the library. You will also handle various questions regarding, for example, digital tools, reading tips, or other types of inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience working in a library. You need to have good IT skills to use the library's systems and to meet the visitors' questions and needs. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required for the role of library assistant. Our requirement is that you have at least a high school diploma, and we prefer that you have education in the field. Previous experience in culture and service is an advantage. Since the position involves many different types of tasks, you need to be able to quickly switch between them.
