About the job

We are now looking for a service-oriented registrar who belongs to the communication unit. Within the unit, both communicators, administrators, and registrars work. As a registrar, you contribute to a legally secure and efficient handling of public documents through structured record-keeping, service to the organization, and support in matters related to case management and document handling. Examples of tasks include:

  • daily record-keeping of documents
  • handling of mail, email, and dispatching
  • supporting colleagues in matters regarding record-keeping and case management
  • handling inquiries from the public
  • developing routines and guidelines for record-keeping and handling of documents
  • management of case management systems and records
  • operational responsibility for the physical archive.

About you

To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to have the following competencies, knowledge, and experience:

Required experience and knowledge

  • Several years of experience working as a registrar in the public sector.
  • Experience in record-keeping and working in case management systems.
  • Experience in confidentiality assessments and the release of public documents.
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing document management in the public sector, including public access and confidentiality legislation.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English.

Desirable experience and knowledge

  • Experience in providing support to colleagues in matters concerning record-keeping.
  • Experience in developing routines and guidelines for record-keeping and handling of documents.

Education

Education in archive and information science or another education deemed equivalent, such as certified registrar, or corresponding work experience.

About Digg

Digg is an authority that works broadly to support and coordinate the digitization of the Swedish public administration. We develop digital infrastructure and services that assist other public actors in their digitization. We also ensure that digital public services are accessible to all.

Merger of Digg and PTS

The government has decided to assign Digg and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) to prepare for a merger. The new organization is to be in place by January 1, 2027. The aim is to create a strengthened authority for digitalization issues, for example in areas such as secure and accessible digital infrastructure, data, and AI. Digg's headquarters are located in central Sundsvall in modern activity-based premises. We also have a smaller and modern office in central Stockholm. We are positively inclined to provide space for remote work based on the needs of the organization and the individual, but it is expected that you will be in the office at least one day a week and when the work requires it. The extent of remote work varies among different individuals based on the needs of the organization.

  • permanent employment with start date according to agreement, the employment may begin with a six-month probationary period
