Who are we looking for?

We are looking for YOU just as you are! The chemistry between client and employee is highly valued by us, which is why we seek employees with different personality types, ages, and hobbies. We would like you to have experience with NPF diagnoses (through relatives or work), as you often have more experience than you think. We want you to be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

What does the job of a Respite/Companion worker entail?

As a respite worker, you will work in the home or its vicinity to relieve relatives of a person with disabilities, allowing them some personal time either alone or together. As a companion, you will accompany a client with disabilities on various activities outside the home. This can include anything from visiting the gym, shopping, or going for a coffee.

What is the scope of the position?

The positions are hourly-based, and the number of hours per month may vary depending on the client's decision (starting from 6 hours/month). Therefore, this is only a part-time job alongside studies or other work. Services are often performed in the afternoons, evenings, or weekends.

According to the law on background checks and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before employment.
