About the position

As a teacher in Swedish as a second language at the upper secondary level, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching according to applicable governing documents and curricula within adult education. You will work to create clear, inclusive, and goal-oriented teaching where students have the right conditions to achieve course goals.

You will be part of a competent teaching team with engaged colleagues and collaborate on planning, assessment, and development work. Teaching may be conducted in classrooms and/or remotely depending on the organization of the activities.

Job responsibilities

• Plan and conduct teaching in Swedish as a second language (upper secondary level) within adult education
• 
  
• Assess, document, and follow up on students' progression and goal fulfillment
• 
  
• Conduct examinations and supplementary assessments according to procedures (if necessary)
• 
  
• Work with adaptations and support based on students' needs
• 
  
• Collaborate in the teaching team and contribute to joint development work

Qualifications (requirements)

• Licensed teacher with qualifications in Swedish as a second language at the upper secondary level (or equivalent qualifications according to current requirements)

Meritorious

• Experience in adult education at the upper secondary level
• 
  
• Familiarity with working in a digital learning platform and with digital tools in teaching
• 
  
• Experience in distance education and digital guidance
• 
  
• Experience in formative assessment and language-developing methods
