Do you want to help develop the future of close care in Skåne? We are now looking for an engaged business developer who wants to contribute to creating a more accessible, cohesive, and person-centered care close to the citizen.
The Department of Close Care and Health has been in existence since January 1, 2025. The department is responsible for grant-funded care activities within close care. This includes mobile teams and specialized palliative care, outpatient care within close care, emergency care within close care, 1177 by phone, as well as some region-wide functions. Additionally, the department is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close care in Region Skåne. The number of employees is estimated to be around 1200.
The area of Emergency Care close to care consists of emergency departments in Hässleholm, Ängelholm, Landskrona, and Trelleborg, as well as 10 evening and weekend open primary care clinics. Two department heads are responsible for their respective parts of the region.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a business developer with us, you will play a central role in leading and driving development and improvement work within one of our areas of operation within the Department of Close Care and Health, with a particular focus on emergency care. You will work closely with the area manager, department heads, and other key roles to identify development needs, implement goals and decisions in practice, and follow up on results.
In this role, you will contribute to developing effective and cohesive care processes that strengthen quality, accessibility, and patient safety, as well as ensure good and equitable care for our citizens.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Initiating, leading, and coordinating improvement and change work within emergency care and related care processes
- Working with process mapping, flow analysis, and operational follow-up
- Supporting the management of the area in planning, follow-up, and analysis of quality, accessibility, and patient flows
- Contributing to the implementation of strategic goals and decisions into concrete working methods and sustainable solutions
- Collaborating with other areas of operation, support functions, and external actors to develop cohesive patient flows
You will be an important part of our strategic development work and contribute to ensuring that our citizens receive safe and effective care at the right time and in the right place.
Together with the management of the area, you are a crucial part of the hub that drives the development of the operation forward.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying have a college or university education in health and medical care or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent and relevant for the assignment. Experience of clinical work in healthcare is a requirement, preferably within emergency care. It is advantageous to have training in and previous experience of leading development and quality work within health and medical care. A good communicative ability in both speech and writing is a necessity, as well as a good knowledge of the use of digital tools.
As a person, you are good at building good relationships and are motivated to work with change processes. Communication and pedagogical ability are strong sides of yours, and you work solution-focused to achieve set goals. You are analytical and have a strong drive and enjoy working both independently and in a team, as well as having the ability to listen to needs and engage others.
