Do you want to contribute to the development of palliative care? We are expanding our team and looking for an education coordinator for the Palliative Development Center. You will play an important role in our team, focusing on coordinating, administering, and developing the center's educational activities.

The Mobile Teams and specialized palliative care area is divided into five geographical operational areas as well as the Palliative Development Center. The Palliative Development Center is part of Region Skåne, with Lund University as a partner. Here, researchers, doctoral students, operational developers, communication specialists, and statisticians work together to drive research, development, and education in general and specialized palliative care. Our strength lies in our tripartite mission of research, development, and education, where collaboration between clinical practice and academia is central.

Our goal is to ensure that people with life-threatening illnesses receive care of the highest quality, and that research in the field is nationally and internationally recognized. Work at the Palliative Development Center is characterized by curiosity and the strong focus of palliative care on teamwork and respect for each other's competencies. We offer training, courses, and seminars, and drive research and development efforts to promote good palliative care for all. Collaboration occurs within the region, nationally, and internationally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the education coordinator aims to ensure a well-functioning and streamlined structure for the Palliative Development Center's educational activities, both internally and in collaboration with other educational actors.

The assignment includes strengthening the conditions for the organization's educational offerings. The role is broad and varied, encompassing both coordination and administration. The work requires excellent collaboration skills, flexibility, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to continuously identify needs for development and improvement.

As an education coordinator, you will have contact with partners and external speakers throughout the educational process and are responsible for ensuring good conditions for high quality and a well-executed educational setup.

The role requires personal drive, the ability to see the big picture and prioritize, as well as the ability to independently lead defined development projects. You will work both strategically and operationally with tasks that may include administration, coordination, follow-up, and development.

You will report directly to the operations manager.

The position is located at Medicon Village in Lund. Travel may occur as part of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education or equivalent competence that the employer assesses as comparable. You have excellent administrative skills and experience working with planning, coordination, and follow-up, preferably within educational activities, healthcare, or another complex organization. Experience working in education, healthcare, or palliative care is meritorious, as is experience in project or course administration.

You have very good computer and system skills and work effortlessly with commonly used administrative programs and digital tools. You easily familiarize yourself with new systems and preferably have experience working in educational administrative systems, such as for course planning, registrations, documentation, and follow-up. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

You have the ability to work in a structured and independent manner, while also enjoying a role where you need to manage several parallel processes and tasks. Having many balls in the air motivates you, and you are used to prioritizing, staying one step ahead, and ensuring that tasks are followed up and completed with good quality.

The role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills. You are socially confident and easily create and maintain good relationships with both internal and external contacts, such as partners and speakers. You work solution-oriented, are service-minded, and contribute to a good collaborative climate. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
