About the Job

At the Information Center, you are the face of the Swedish Tax Agency. You work in a fast-paced environment where you answer general questions about population registration primarily from private individuals and guide them on how to best use our e-services. You build trust by being attentive and having a good attitude. Most questions come via phone, which means you need to be comfortable speaking on the phone with different people.

You take responsibility for keeping yourself updated on news and changes within your work area. Using various digital information channels, you also search for answers during the conversation with the customer. Most questions are simple and can be answered quickly, but some are more complex. The job also includes administrative tasks such as sending personal certificates and various forms.

In addition to the above tasks, you will also answer incoming questions in our election information during the period.

In this job, you will have contact with customers all day long and encounter a great diversity of people. You work in a team closely with your colleagues, and you support and receive support from each other. You will develop your skills in customer service and gain broad knowledge in the field of population registration. At the Information Center, you have scheduled working hours.

The Information Center is open from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

You will belong to a section at the Information Center and will work in the Population and Property Department in Helsingborg.

About You

You should also have:

  • an ongoing (at least 60 approved credits) or recently completed university education of at least 180 credits in law, social sciences, behavioral sciences, or another suitable higher education.
  • Relevant work experience in meeting people from different backgrounds via phone and email or customer service.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.

It is desirable that you have relevant work experience at the Swedish Tax Agency.

Good to Know

The employment is temporary from May 1 to August 31. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for part-time extension during the first two weeks of September. In May, there is an opportunity to combine potential studies with the work as a population registration officer, as leave can be granted up to 50% for studies after consultation with the responsible manager. There will be joint reviews and training with mandatory attendance during May.

Due to the nature of the tasks, there is no opportunity to work from home in this job.

In this recruitment, we may use psychological tests.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with background checks according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
