About the Legal Department

Peab's legal department is responsible for providing qualified legal support to the business operations. The department consists of 17 lawyers, of which 14 are located in Sweden at our offices in Malmö, Förslöv, Gothenburg, Umeå, and Solna. Due to a retirement, we are now looking for a new colleague in Malmö.

Your Role

As a corporate lawyer in the business law group, you will work closely with our business and projects. You will participate in tender work and contract negotiations, draft and interpret contracts, and provide ongoing legal advice to project managers.

The focus in this role is on real estate-related law, transactions, and finance, but you may also need to support in construction law, contract law, and public procurement. You will have your own areas of responsibility covering companies and regions within our operations. Another important part of the role is to conduct internal training.

We are looking for someone who has

• At least 7–10 years of experience from court, law firm, company, or public administration.
• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: real estate law and real estate transactions, acquisitions, finance, construction law, public procurement.

Personal Qualities

You are communicative, self-driven, and pragmatic with high integrity. You enjoy building relationships and working closely with the business. Travel is required in this position, mainly within the relevant region and within Sweden. You report to the Chief Legal Officer and work closely with other corporate lawyers and business functions.
