JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a system administrator, you will play a central role in managing and leading the development of the municipality's financial system and support systems, and you will have a collaborative role for our partner municipalities. Your responsibilities include:
- Participating and driving the development of central financial/decision-making processes and routines, as well as implementation in the municipality's administrations and associations.
- Developing and updating system and user documentation.
- Training users.
- Administering permissions and being responsible for register maintenance.
- Being responsible for integrations to the systems.
- Handling troubleshooting and being a problem solver for incidents occurring in the systems.
- Having many points of contact with system suppliers, the IT unit, suppliers, and internally within the municipality.
- Extracting supplier/product statistics for various interest groups.
- Providing support and assistance in various forms to users, suppliers, etc.
- Managing daily operations of financial/support systems and communication.
- Handling security issues regarding the systems' technology and users.
We are currently in an exciting and intensive phase where we, together with five municipalities, are conducting procurement of a financial system, which is set to go live in January 2027.
As a system administrator, you will have a key role in the project group working on the implementation of the financial system.
You will participate in projects occurring in the finance department and in collaboration with other municipal operations and municipalities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a responsible and innovative system administrator with a focus on digitalization based on the needs of the operations and the demands of the environment. You have a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge through other education and/or work experience that we consider equivalent.
You have experience in system administration or qualified work in a larger financial/support system. It is also advantageous if you have worked with system integrations and have knowledge in accounting.
Of course, you have a genuine interest in systems. You are analytical, structured, and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work based on workload. You thrive in a fast-paced environment. You work with a focus on development and take the initiative to improve routines and working methods. To succeed in the role, you need to be service-oriented and enjoy creating positive working relationships and collaborating with others.
You have a good command of spoken and written language and are attracted by the opportunity to make a difference in your work. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
