The medical area at the Central Hospital in Kristianstad is a large, cohesive operation that includes both planned and emergency care. Within the operation, we have units in hematology, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, nephrology, gastroenterology, neurology/stroke, endocrinology, and rheumatology. The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and coronary angiography are part of the cardiology section within the medical area at the Central Hospital Kristianstad (CSK).

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a medical secretary who wants to grow with us! You are a central part of our operation and an important administrative support for all professional categories, while also being offered a varied job with great opportunities to influence your work situation.

Our medical secretaries form an important link and are integrated into the operation with very varied tasks. Your tasks with us include printing medical records, letters, and certificates, as well as visit and diagnosis registration. You will also be responsible for mail and referral handling, appointment scheduling, telephone service, and managing cases in the healthcare guide's e-services. Our computerized medical record system is Melior, while booking, visit registration, and diagnosis registration are done in Pasis.

It is important to us that you feel secure in your role from the start. When you start with us, we will therefore together create a plan for your individual training based on your needs and previous experiences. To promote skills development, we offer both internal and external training on specific work tasks. You also have the opportunity to undergo other training related to your interests and the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have an education in Health and Medical Care Administration of 80 KY points or 400 YH points, or equivalent medical secretary education. You have good knowledge of medical terminology and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in the profession and if you have experience in handling any of our current systems Melior and Pasis.

This is a position for you who are service-oriented, meticulous, and thrive in a varied work environment. You are confident in yourself and can handle a fast pace in a controlled manner. In your work approach, you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
