The adult education in Klippan is located in two units in central Klippan. At Storgatan, we offer SFI, GRUV, upper secondary courses, special education for adults, and vocational training for chefs, bakery, sales and service, and healthcare. In the Tegel area, we conduct vocational, labor market, and commissioned training for the construction, automotive, and transport sectors, as well as YH training for driving instructors.

We provide high-quality education, with competent staff, in well-adapted premises and with high-quality equipment. We are a positive workplace that constantly strives to develop the operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The overarching goal of adult education in Klippan is to support the transition to the labor market, thereby contributing to society's skills supply, where education is one of our most important tools. Overall, all our students and participants should receive a solid foundation, the guidance and stimulation they need to reach as far as possible in their learning and development, for further education and individual development, and to strengthen their position in working and social life.

You see the opportunities from potential participants or students, initiatives and education, as well as the labor market and various industry needs. In this role, you are responsible for meeting potential students interested in studies, as well as current students in adult education who need further guidance towards studies. One of the most important parts of the job is to inform about the opportunities that studies can provide and to be well-informed about the educational offerings that we can provide to support the transition to the labor market, sometimes through further studies or at a higher level. Collaboration between high school, labor market and development units, and adult education is an important part of success. Knowledge of, established networks, and access to contacts with employers, industries, and the Employment Agency or other authorities is an asset in the work.

Part of the job involves travel, for example to Malmö, and the admission of students for our bus training project in collaboration with Skånetrafiken. The eleven municipalities within the Family Helsingborg work together with a common application and admission unit, a process that involves some more or less administrative tasks included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education in study and career guidance is essential. Any other relevant academic qualifications are an asset. Other training that can contribute to the work is meritorious and an asset. Experience in study and career guidance within adult education is a requirement.

The ability to work with people is of crucial importance. You have the ability to work with others; to listen, show empathy, and respect. It is crucial that you can deliver results through guidance to various educational paths. You work in a systematic, methodical, and reliable manner based on applications, selection, and admission. You easily focus on people's needs, with a positive approach and achieve a good satisfaction in meeting with the operation.

Adult education and the labor market are characterized by rapid changes and needs; you can adapt your working methods as needed with the ability to see opportunities before obstacles. You show respect and sensitivity to other people's needs, such as cultural and religious differences. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally. You collaborate well with people in various contexts and functions. You build effective networks within and outside the organization to perform your tasks.
