International English School in Trelleborg is now looking for a teaching assistant for the lower grades. Seize the opportunity to become part of our fantastic team!
In your role as a teaching assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support students with various challenges and NPF variations in their daily lives. This mainly involves being available for students during lessons, transitions, breaks, and meal situations in school and after-school care. In your work, you are responsible for ensuring that students feel motivated to learn and are involved in their learning based on their own conditions. It is important to recognize the different needs of students, consider their individual circumstances, and help them grow and develop. The goal is to increase students' independence and work towards inclusion to the greatest extent possible.
We are looking for someone with relevant education to work as a teaching assistant, who has experience working with children and preferably educational experience to meet the student's needs for adjustments at the right level. Documented knowledge of NPF diagnoses, good collaboration skills, solution-focused approach, and low-arousal responses are advantageous.
The position is a fixed-term employment of 35% during the spring term of 2026 with the following working hours:
- Monday 15:15-17:15
- Tuesday 15:00-17:15
- Wednesday 15:00-17:15
- Thursday 13:30-17:15
- Friday 13:30-17:15
