We are looking for a Finnish-speaking preschool teacher for our Finnish-speaking department, Lankarulla, at Spinneriet Preschool in Malmö.

To achieve this, we are now recruiting a Finnish-speaking preschool teacher who wants to contribute to inspiring teaching in our unique department.

Spinneriet Preschool is part of a principal area with four preschools in Kulladal. We have a strong management organization consisting of 3 lead preschool teachers, 3 deputy principals, and a principal.

Spinneriet Preschool has four departments and is located on the second floor adjacent to the Mobilia shopping center. Here is Malmö's only Finnish-speaking department, where Finnish educators work to create a safe and stimulating environment for Finnish-speaking children. The preschool has modern, bright facilities and its own rooftop garden that provides children with opportunities for both play and outdoor learning.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you will work to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool. You will lead and develop the educational activities together with the rest of the team. You have a special responsibility for teaching and work with the curriculum as a basis based on each child's knowledge, experiences, and specific conditions. All preschool teachers in Malmö city have scheduled time (5 hours/week) for reflection, documentation, and learning with colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher degree and speaks and writes Finnish fluently. We want you to contribute with commitment, creativity, and a drive to develop the activities. You meet each child with respect and attentiveness. Of course, you have a professional approach and work towards good relationships with guardians and colleagues. In addition to Finnish, you also need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

To be permanently employed as a preschool teacher, a preschool teacher license is required according to the Education Act. If you have a preschool teacher degree but lack a license, you will be employed on a fixed-term basis.
