Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for three primary school teachers for after-school care at Augustenborgsskolan. This is an expansion we are making in the after-school program to strengthen its quality. As a primary school teacher for after-school care, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing within the after-school program, creating a stimulating educational environment based on the curriculum and other governing documents. Furthermore, you will be responsible for promoting students' development and learning, as well as finding strategies to reach each student and support them in both knowledge and personal development.

Your role includes providing students with meaningful leisure time and promoting diverse contacts, social community, and strengthening group relationships. The after-school program should complement the education in school, allowing students to explore, try, create, and live the knowledge they have acquired. We can succeed in this mission together through good collaboration within the work teams, where we plan, follow up, and evaluate the activities. This is to best offer an after-school program that not only provides the right conditions for development and learning but also ensures that students actually receive it.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher in after-school care. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage. You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply them in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess strong didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout the day.

Your teaching is modern and based on evidence-based research, and you work effectively with relevant digital tools.

Augustenborgsskolan is a K-9 school located in Malmö's southern inner city with approximately 750 students. We are a multicultural school with students and staff from all corners of the world.
