Case Officer to the Legal Unit
The Operations Support Department aims to develop the organization and create efficient and easily accessible support systems. We support the organization's work regarding security, communication, HR, finance, law, and other strategically overarching issues.
Job Description
At the Legal Unit, you will gain broad insight into many of society's various legal areas.
We are collectively responsible for preparing and deciding on a large number of public administrative matters. We conduct supervision, control, and licensing in a wide range of areas. Furthermore, we prepare and decide on appeals in various legal areas, including the Planning and Building Act and the Environmental Code.
As a case officer at the Legal Unit, you will be responsible for handling ongoing matters within the unit, with a particular focus on security companies, deposit cases, and traffic matters.
The work involves independent handling of qualified and complex administrative matters. The position includes decision-making to some extent, while you are responsible for preparing decision-making materials for the county lawyer's considerations. All handling must be conducted legally secure and efficiently, with a high degree of transparency and good service.
Depending on your previous experience and competence, other tasks within the Legal Unit's area of responsibility may also become relevant.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have at least a high school education and a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in public administration. A degree in public administration and experience in legal areas within the framework of the County Administrative Board's activities are meritorious. You need to have good computer skills, write and speak good Swedish, and possess a driver's license.
As a person, you are communicative in both speech and writing and work in a structured and meticulous manner. You have good collaboration skills and can communicate and explain decisions and positions in a pedagogical way. You are independent and take responsibility for driving case handling forward, with good initiative. Furthermore, you are flexible and unpretentious regarding your tasks, which allows you to easily switch between different tasks as needed.

Employment
The employment is temporary until December 31, 2026.
The position is security classified, and a security review will be conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
