About the Assignment

At Novare Bemanning, we are a proud and approved supplier of the government framework agreement in Sweden. We are currently looking for an accountant for a government agency in Stockholm.

As an accountant at the agency, you will work with tasks in the financial system, including register maintenance and forecast updates, producing reports on financial results, conducting analyses of results, as well as working with reconciliations, troubleshooting, and controls, as well as budget and forecasting work.

For this role, we are looking for someone who is driven and analytical. You have good communication skills and find it easy to collaborate with others. You take initiative and work in a structured manner.

Requirements for the Position

• University degree in finance or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience in a similar role. Alternatively, high school or equivalent education in the relevant field and five (5) years of work experience as an accountant.
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of relevant accounting systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.).
• Experience in government accounting.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Assignment Period and Scope

The assignment is full-time, starting as soon as possible, and lasts for 4-6 months. The placement is at the agency in Stockholm.
