The welfare sector consists of four areas: disability services, home care and home health care, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes. IFO (individual and family care) is responsible for the following areas: support for children, youth, and their families, support for adults, financial assistance/economic support, as well as labor market initiatives and the reception of newcomers.

The assignment involves leading individuals who are far from the labor market in sewing and creative textile creation. The operation belongs to the labor market unit and takes place in collaboration with municipal operations, the Church of Sweden, and businesses in Ulricehamn. The activity is located in the church's premises, and the office workplace will be at the labor market unit.

At the labor market unit, labor consultants, administrators, and integration coordinators/property managers work. Working hours are during the day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities include planning the operation, which means ensuring that there are tasks to be performed for those participating in the activity. It is important to be able to guide, support, and motivate participants. Mapping, following up, and documenting are also part of the role. The majority of the work involves working alone with participants based on the activity. The tasks for the participants may include sorting clothes, repairing work clothes, and sewing on order from municipal operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in the field or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working with individuals in vulnerable situations and knowledge of labor market preparatory measures. You work independently based on jointly given assignments, have the ability to see the big picture, and can adapt your working methods to the varying needs of the target group. A driver's license and knowledge of sewing are required.

It is an advantage if you have training in Supported Employment and/or ACT, experience leading or working with group activities, and experience from any of our collaborating authorities. Experience guiding the target group in group activities and education in textiles are also advantageous.

We are looking for someone who is driven and has good social skills as well as high collaboration ability. You are structured and organize, prioritize, and plan your work effectively, while also being flexible and able to adapt to changing conditions. You have a proactive working style with a holistic view, are outgoing and creative, and have the ability to work independently. You are patient, persistent, and have a good ability to build relationships and communicate with participants and partners. You can shape and develop the work based on the assignment and the varying needs of the target group.
