About the Investigation Team
The Investigation Team consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses, totaling 15 people. They work with assessments in ordinary housing together with the nursing assistants in the Care and Support Team and within the short-term stay unit at Trädgårdens Elderly Center. There are 36 round-the-clock places for assessment/respite/short-term care.
Job Responsibilities
You will work both independently and in a team with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, and nursing assistants. In the role of Rehabilitation Assistant at Trädgårdens Elderly Center, you will primarily collaborate with occupational therapists and physiotherapists in the rehabilitation of patients in our short-term care; respite and full-day assessments as well as the care and support team. In our work, we focus on the patient's abilities and resources to achieve the goals of rehabilitation. This may involve;
- ADL assessment
- ADL training
- Walking and balance training or other training
- Transfer training
- Home visits
- Picking up/dropping off aids
- Social activities
The interventions are carried out at the request of an occupational or physiotherapist. Other tasks may also occur to support and relieve occupational and physiotherapists in their work.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is studying to become an occupational or physiotherapist and has completed semester 4 (by summer), preferably with experience working with the elderly and in health care.
You should be flexible, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with quick changes, have a good attitude, and take responsibility. You should have the ability to structure and plan your workday. Since communication with patients and documentation is an important part of the job, you must have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing. Personal suitability is highly valued.
A driver's license is required, and a company car is available at the workplace.
About the Employment
As a summer substitute, you will work during the summer period, June-August. Full-time 40 hours/week. The substitute position involves daytime work on weekdays.
Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously, and the substitute position may be filled before the application deadline, with start date according to agreement.
Before the job offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The extract must be in a sealed envelope. For all positions, the "Form to check your own information - Request for an extract from the criminal record for an individual (442.3)" Check your own information, e-service | Police Authority must be presented in a sealed envelope.
