SYSTEMS ENGINEER AT W5 SOLUTIONS IN ÄLMHULT

As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of our development team consisting of mechanical, electrical, and electronic designers as well as software developers, ILS, test, and verification engineers. You have a central and important role in the organization where you work closely with your colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Systems Engineer with us, you will have a key role in our projects where you will be responsible for coordinating technical solutions and ensuring that all parts work as a whole. You will work cross-functionally with colleagues in development, production, purchasing, and quality – from feasibility study to delivery.

Your main tasks as a Systems Engineer will include:

• Developing system architecture and technical solutions in collaboration with various technical areas.

• Managing requirements from customer to finished solution with full traceability.

• Coordinating technical activities and contributing to project planning.

• Participating in technical reviews, verification, and validation.

• Assisting in the integration and testing of systems.

• Engaging in technical dialogue with customers and suppliers.

Furthermore, you will also work on risk analyses related to electrical and machinery safety. The role also involves working on business development in the area; nothing is so good that it cannot be improved.

You will collaborate with other colleagues to gather and break down specifications from customers and develop future technical solutions for both the Swedish and international defense sectors. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & QUALIFICATIONS

You who take on this challenge have a higher education as an engineer, either in electrical, electronics, or mechanics, with several years of practical experience. You have a genuine interest in technology and technical solutions as well as good experience working in a requirements-setting position. Previous experience in or related to the defense industry is an advantage.

With great curiosity and creativity, you drive your work forward. Working in a project format is something you enjoy, and you are a good team player who wants to contribute to good collaboration. With a sense of order and structure, we believe you have the right prerequisites to thrive in a project-oriented organization with a familial and genuine culture.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of EN_81346 - Structuring Principles and Reference Designations, which is a fundamental philosophy in our systems work.

We see it as a given that you write and speak Swedish and English fluently, and that you have a B driver's license as business travel occurs.
