Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. Your workplace is wherever the client is, whether it is in the client's home, at work, or during other activities.

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 60s residing in Örebro
• has experience in similar work
• has good knowledge of Swedish

It is also an advantage if you:

• have language skills in Arabic, Kurdish, or Persian

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is a fixed-term position with immediate start and extends until 2025-07-31 with an employment rate of 50%. The position involves varied work during daytime and evening hours on a rolling schedule.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or as agreed.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
