Description

LSS means the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. In Hällefors, support for people with disabilities consists of four group homes, daily activities, and personal assistance. We work with adults who have physical and mental disabilities and need support and help in their daily lives.

We are looking for committed and responsible employees who want to be part of our team at Mogrensvägen and provide our users with the support they need to live as independently and actively as possible. Job Responsibilities

• Support and assist with personal care, cooking, shopping, and other daily tasks.
• Assist with recreational and social activities.
• Perform health and medical tasks as delegated.
• Work together with other colleagues to create a safe and structured daily life for the users.

Requirements:

• Education in the Care and Nursing Program, preferably with a focus on disabilities. Ability to work in a structured manner, with empathy and respect for individual needs.
• Good collaboration skills, flexible and stress-resistant.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driving license B.

Desirable:

• Further education such as relevant YH education or university education in the field.
• Experience working with disabilities, especially autism.
• Training in alternative communication, special education, or low-arousal approaches.
• Knowledge of clear pedagogical methods.

Conditions

We apply ongoing selection and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Working hours are scheduled and may vary between day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Interviews and appointments are conducted on an ongoing basis.
