About Unika Porla Slott

We are now looking forward to welcoming a new colleague to our company Unika, within LSS, and are seeking someone who wants to start working at our group home Unika Porla Slott near Porla Brunn, which is located about 6 km outside Laxå. The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probation period starting on May 1, 2025.

We offer accommodation for target group 1, with 6 places in the form of apartments. The target group includes individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions.About the role of Support Worker

As a support worker, you will work to provide a meaningful and predictable everyday life with a lot of structure for those living with us. We work goal-oriented based on the assignment plan, have a professional and rehabilitative approach and working method while working within the resources and budget of the organization.

We adapt our work based on each individual's conditions and needs, and the starting point is the individual's personal implementation plan. Our goal is for the users to become as independent as possible, and we support them in using their own resources to develop and achieve a good quality of life. Our working method involves having a low-arousal approach and clarifying pedagogy.

Qualifications

• Very good command of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
• Experience in working within care and support.
• Upper secondary education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
• Driving license B is a requirement

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, TAC, and low-arousal approach.
• Experience and knowledge of LSS target group 1 with individuals with extensive and complex support needs.
