We are looking for positive and attentive personal assistants for a 5-year-old boy with autism who is non-verbal. He is a curious, playful, and stubborn boy, and needs a responsible and trustworthy personal assistant to ensure a safe everyday life where your contribution is incredibly important and meaningful. Being a self-driven person who can adapt to different situations is therefore a crucial requirement.

The position involves providing support and assistance to the boy at his preschool every other week, where you help him participate in activities, develop, and feel secure in his daily life. Every other week you will work during afternoons and evenings in his home. The position has an employment rate of approximately 78% and requires that you are flexible, attentive, and can adapt to the boy's needs and routines.

About you/tasks: In this role, it is important that you identify as a flexible and caring person. Your work will be characterized by varied tasks that include:

• Feeding via PEG.
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene, such as diaper changes and wound care.
• Managing central venous catheters (CVC) and nutritional drips.
• Engaging him in social contexts, such as a visit to the playground.

We are looking for a responsible woman who is good at reading signals and creating a safe environment around her. It is also important that you have a kind and calm demeanor and are clear in your communication with the boy. Experience in care is an advantage but not a requirement, and personal suitability is the most decisive factor. Important qualifications and characteristics are:

• Non-smoker.
• Swimmer.
• Driver's license and access to a car.
• Good physical condition.
• Alternative communication.
• Fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing.

The position encompasses an employment rate of approximately 78%. Before you start working, we offer introductory shifts as a temporary employee to ensure that you feel secure and well-prepared in your new role. The work is carried out according to a rolling schedule and mainly involves efforts at the boy's preschool as well as work during afternoons and evenings every other week.
