Support Pedagogue for Näbbtorg Team

About the Position
As a support pedagogue, you will support the service recipient based on goals and approved interventions and adapt the operations according to the needs of the service recipient. You will also be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing working methods and approaches within the workgroup. In the role of support pedagogue, you will work with perspectives at both the individual and group levels in the operations.
As a support pedagogue, it is required that you have a genuine interest in developing and helping people with various LSS interventions. You should work from a professional, pedagogical approach, according to the administration's values based on responsibility, wholeness, participation, and respect for the individual's right to self-determination and integrity. The goal is for the individual to have good and equal living conditions and full participation in community life, as well as influence and co-determination over the interventions provided. You will support colleagues in establishing and following up on implementation plans and ensure that the social documentation maintains good quality. As a support pedagogue, you will work closely as part of the workgroup in the regular operations.
As a support pedagogue at Näbbtorget, you will have great opportunities to influence and develop this assignment together with the responsible manager. You will be a support function by guiding your colleagues and conveying the pedagogical work around the service recipients in an inspiring and clear manner. As a support pedagogue, you will be part of a team with other support pedagogues to follow up on working methods, approaches, and implementation work in the operations.
Examples of Work Tasks:
- You will assist with various administrative tasks, documentation, and planning at the unit and be responsible for ensuring that the unit has current implementation plans of good quality.
- You will guide colleagues in methods and working approaches, supporting and coordinating colleagues to become independent in the work of establishing and following up on implementation plans according to IBIC.
- Collaborate with relatives and other internal and external professionals.
- Seek information and keep yourself updated within the operational area.
- You will perform all household tasks such as shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
About the Workplace
The Näbbtorg team operates at Näbbtorgsgatan 16 and is a service residence. The operation is located in the same premises as and collaborates with Näbbtorgsgatan. You will be welcomed by several support assistants, assistants, and the unit manager.
The Social Administration area of functional support provides support and services to individuals with physical and mental disabilities according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL).

Qualifications:
We expect you to have a professional approach and be able to work both independently and in a team. You are also a positive person with an interest in supporting individuals with disabilities and have the ability to see opportunities and find creative solutions in various situations. The work requires a flexible approach to be able to work and guide, and you must have the ability to contribute your special expertise in an inspiring way to other colleagues. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and the different conditions of individuals. Personal suitability is important to us. You must have good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Requirements:
- Higher vocational education as a support pedagogue, treatment assistant, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or activation pedagogue, alternatively 60 HP in relevant subjects (such as pedagogy, disabilities, psychology, behavioral science, social work, or equivalent).
- At least two years of documented experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Meritorious:
- Knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
- Knowledge of the individual's needs in focus (IBIC).
- Experience with operational systems (e.g., Treserva or LifeCare).
- Knowledge of Swedish sign language.
- Ability to cycle.

Working Hours: Daytime, time, and every other weekend
