As a receptionist, you are the hotel's face to the outside world. You create positive first and last impressions, handle questions and challenges in a professional manner, and contribute to ensuring that our guests and conference participants have a memorable stay. The tasks are varied and include, among other things:

• Check-in and check-out of guests
• Handling bookings via phone, email, and booking systems
• Active guest service and information about Gothenburg, the hotel, Skidome, gym, restaurant, and other facilities in Prioritet Serneke Arena
• Upselling of rooms, upgrades, dining experiences, and conference packages
• Payments, cash handling, and invoicing (both private guests and corporate clients)
• Support to other departments
• Stepping in where needed – we are a tight-knit team that helps each other!

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 1 year of experience from hotel reception, conference reception, or similar service profession.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Other language skills are an advantage, primarily English but also German, Spanish, or Chinese.
• Good computer skills and experience with VisBook is particularly meritorious
• Experience in payment handling, invoicing, and administration is a plus
• Flexibility regarding working hours – day, evening, weekend, and night shifts may occur
• Positive attitude, stress resilience, and ability to maintain high service quality in a fast-paced environment
• At least 18 years old
