Almåsgymnasiet offers vocational training where creativity and entrepreneurship shape students' futures. The school has over 950 students and about 135 staff.

The school’s kitchen has well-renovated, fresh facilities and has a capacity for about 1000 portions per day served in the school's own dining hall. The team consists of 6 competent and dedicated individuals, of which four are chefs and meal assistants. (%5Bobject%20Object%5D)

Due to retirement, we are looking for a chef with good knowledge and experience in preparing special diets and A-diet.

The dining hall staff is part of the school’s service organization with the Unit Manager for support and service as the immediate supervisor.

As a chef, you will be responsible for cooking, with a strong focus on special diets, assisting with menu planning, serving, self-control, HACCP, and all other tasks occurring in the production kitchen, including handling dishes and cleaning.

You who are applying for the position have experience working as a chef in larger production kitchens. Education as a chef at least at the upper secondary level, or another relevant 3-year upper secondary education in restaurant and catering is a requirement.

Knowledge and experience in preparing special diet meals is an asset.

Your work is permeated by ecological and economic awareness.

Hygiene certificate, knowledge of e-commerce, and the dietary program Matilda are qualifying.

A genuine interest in cooking and understanding the importance of quality and service is a requirement.

Cooperation skills and stress resistance are necessary qualities. You who are applying are flexible, positive, and see opportunities in new situations.

Good skills in oral and written communication in the Swedish language are a fundamental prerequisite.
