After a long journey for our guests, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face and a smile welcoming you. This is what we do at the reception of Scandic Laholmen every day. The reception is also the hub of the hotel, so you will be at the center of events. We do not always know what challenges we will face during the day, but what we do know is that all departments will come together to solve them. We are a team, and you are an important part of it.

Your tasks include:

• Check in and out guests in our system Hotsoft
• Coordinate all departments to meet our guests' wishes.
• Answer questions from our guests.
• Contribute to upselling.
• Participate in and actively work towards departmental goals.
• Receive bookings via phone, email, and handle invoices.
• Work with cash management.

You should love meeting guests and have the ability to quickly build good relationships. You take initiative, are flexible to changes, and have a good ability to see solutions. You can handle stressful situations while prioritizing the right things. Being able to work well in a team and being a caring colleague is a given for us.

Experience you bring and share with us

• You are a qualified receptionist or have experience from similar jobs in the service industry.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English. If you know Norwegian, it is an advantage.
• Good computer skills

This is a seasonal position where working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts as well as weekends. The positions are at 80%

Salary according to collective agreement.
