On the old herring island Klädesholmen outside Tjörn lies Salt & Sill, surrounded by Bohuslän's salty cliffs and skerries. We are Sweden's first floating hotel and one of the west coast's most appreciated archipelago destinations, with a hotel, conference facilities, and a restaurant – right by the dock.

Our business has been run in its current form since the early 2000s and is characterized by a strong passion for food, people, and hospitality. The proximity to the sea and local ingredients permeates both our menus and guest experiences. We are a seasonal business with a high pace during parts of the year, where collaboration, responsibility, and engagement are crucial for the whole.

We are now looking for a bartender to join our bar team for the summer season. The position primarily covers the period from June to August, with the possibility of work before or after the season if needed. The role is flexible and involves work in both our restaurant bar and the terrace bar Saltbaren, depending on the needs of the business. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends, during the day and evening.

As a bartender with us, you are an important part of the atmosphere and overall experience for our guests. You work in a vibrant environment with the sea as a backdrop and contribute to creating a welcoming, professional, and pleasant atmosphere. During the high season, the pace is high, and the workdays are varied – from calm afternoons to intense summer evenings with music, entertainment, and a bustling bar.

In this role, you are responsible for creating and serving cocktails, drinks, and other beverages with high quality, precision, and creativity. You perform preparatory work such as garnishing and drink mixing, keep the bar clean, organized, and functioning well, and manage inventory and orders. You greet guests with presence and engagement, provide recommendations based on preferences, and collaborate closely with other bartenders and serving staff to ensure a good flow and a strong guest experience.

We believe you have at least three years of experience working as a bartender, preferably with a focus on cocktails and mixology. You have good knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and drink composition and are comfortable working in a fast-paced bar. Bartending education is a plus. You are service-oriented, responsible, and easily connect with guests. Collaboration is a given for you, and you contribute to a positive atmosphere both behind and in front of the bar. You speak Swedish and English fluently.
