On the old herring island Klädesholmen outside Tjörn lies Salt & Sill, surrounded by Bohuslän's salty cliffs and skerries. We are Sweden's first floating hotel and one of the west coast's most appreciated archipelago destinations, with a hotel, conference, and restaurant – right by the dock.

Our business has been operating under the current management since the early 2000s and is characterized by a strong passion for food, people, and hospitality. The proximity to the sea and local ingredients permeate both our menus and guest experiences. We are a seasonal business with a high pace during parts of the year, where collaboration, responsibility, and engagement are crucial for the whole.

We are now looking for serving staff for Sjöboden ahead of the summer season. Sjöboden is our relaxed summer restaurant by the sea, where we serve pizza, seafood, and selected small dishes in a lively and cozy environment. The position primarily covers the period from June to August, and working hours are scheduled for weekdays and weekends, during the day and evening.

As serving staff at Sjöboden, you are an important part of the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that characterizes the restaurant. You greet guests with natural hospitality, work closely with colleagues in service, kitchen, and bar, and contribute to creating a pleasant overall experience. The role suits you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, appreciate collaboration, and enjoy working in a social and summery setting.

In this role, you are responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, and serving food and drinks in a professional and personal manner. You ensure that the serving areas are kept clean and inviting and follow up on guests' experiences during their visit. The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues to create a good flow and smooth operation throughout the shift.

We believe you have at least two years of experience working as a waiter or waitress, preferably from a restaurant with a more relaxed concept. You are confident in your role, service-oriented, and have an easy time meeting guests in a personal and professional manner. You work in a structured way even when the pace is high, contribute to a good atmosphere in the team, and take responsibility for your tasks. You speak Swedish and English fluently, both spoken and written.
