In one moment, we are serving meals to a regular business traveler, and in the next, it is the hockey team with the gold medal around their necks that needs to be served. A hotel is a puzzle of people creating memorable guest experiences. A crucial piece of that puzzle is the waiter. Someone who moves through the room, delivers service with a capital S, and was born with a twinkle in their eye! Here, it is all about balancing plates, orders, and upselling, all while creating memorable guest experiences. Working hours are mostly weekends and evenings, but daytime shifts may occur.

Curious about what the role entails?

• As a Supervisor in the restaurant, you will ensure smooth operations and excellent collaboration between departments, both service and kitchen, but also reception and conference, to give the guest the best possible experience with us.
• The role involves managing purchases, scheduling, and having a good understanding of economics.
• You will also guide and support the rest of the team so they can reach their goals.
• We strive to maintain our guest promise by delivering a welcoming atmosphere and reliable service.
• Laws related to health, environment, and safety will also be your highest priority.

• Experience from the restaurant industry in hotels is a plus.
• Experience in restaurant and bar with at least 6 years is a requirement.
• You master both Swedish and English without problems, both in speech and writing.

About Quality Hotel

Quality Hotel 11 & Eriksbergshallen is located along the waterfront at Eriksberg in the converted shipyard buildings. Here, Gothenburg's solid history meets contemporary Scandinavian design. The hotel features 259 rooms, a wellness area, an à la carte restaurant, and an outdoor terrace with lovely views of the river from the 6th floor, as well as a rooftop bar on the 8th floor. Our conference department, Eriksbergshallen, is Gothenburg's second-largest conference and exhibition hall, accommodating up to 2,000 people. At our place, things happen at all times; there is an energy here that is hard to find in "ordinary" hotels!
