The Leisure Facilities Operations unit in Kungälv is now looking for three full-time entrance and café hosts.

At Leisure Facilities Operations, we work to create conditions for an active leisure life throughout life. We ensure that both young and old, and everyone in between, have the opportunity for an active leisure time, whether in organized form or through spontaneous activities. We have everything from ice rinks and swimming halls to football fields, sports halls, and fitness facilities. Some of our facilities also have entrance and café operations, where we are now looking for new employees!

In this role, you are the first person visitors meet, which requires a good service spirit and a warm heart, so that all our visitors feel welcome. You will be part of a team of approximately 8 people, who rotate between the facilities.

As an entrance and café host, you are the one who welcomes our guests, ensures there is a cup of coffee or tea with snacks for them to enjoy, and keeps our premises clean and tidy for a pleasant visit.

Since our public facilities together have more than 300,000 visitors annually, they serve as an important social meeting place for many of our citizens and visiting guests.

Employees at Kungälv Municipality receive an annual wellness allowance of 1,500 SEK.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the premises are well-cleaned and in order.
• Greet our guests and assist them with purchasing fitness/badminton cards and snacks, as well as booking and providing the service our guests expect.
• Ensure that cash register functions work properly.
• Sales and entry control to the facilities.
• Receive school classes and associations when they have bookings at the facilities.
• Ensure that the café section at the facilities is in order and that café products and light meals are available for purchase.
• At some facilities, we handle all facility maintenance ourselves. This includes cleaning of saunas, shower areas, toilets, changing rooms, as well as the café section with its associated kitchen.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have at least a high school education or training that the employer deems equivalent.
• Have at least one year of experience in similar tasks.
• Can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Have good computer skills as our entrance systems are computerized.
• Can use Office programs as we are an IT-based operation.

Merits:
