Home Care Service Centrum 2 is now looking for two trained nursing assistants who want to become part of our wonderful team in the center.

The home care service is currently divided into several different home care groups throughout Vänersborg, and the different units together form a whole. Home Care Service Centrum 2 collaborates with Centrum 1, which is based in the same location, and we work together in a common cluster.

Your work schedule is arranged continuously with an 8-week interval. For a sustainable work life, you can influence your schedule through requests. You have the right to 11 hours of night rest in the schedule.

You have scheduled working hours, which means day, evening, and every other weekend.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in home care, you are part of the daily work at the unit. You work based on the Social Services Act Chapter 4 Section 1, and our goal is to strengthen or provide opportunities for the client to live an independent life. The tasks are varied and can also be complex based on the client's needs.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you will perform standard tasks within care and support. You will work closely with the client on care tasks and be a support in daily life. Our mission is to strengthen the client's opportunities to live an independent life based on the client's own resources, abilities, and needs, as well as to uphold the intentions of our values. In your professional role, you will also perform delegated health and medical care tasks, be part of a contact team around the client, write and update implementation plans, act as a representative and planner on weekends, handle social documentation, and contribute to the development of the organization. We consider it an advantage if you have experience working as a "Permanent Care Contact".

We work in various digital systems to facilitate and ensure good quality in the tasks. Our planning and documentation system is LifeCare Planning and LifeCare Mobile Care (LMO). We have MCSS for signing delegated health care tasks and digital locks and medication cabinets at the clients' homes.

Service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping are performed by an external actor, which means that you as a nursing assistant can focus more on providing care services. Since we work in ordinary housing, you may work in homes with pets.

Qualifications

You should have a positive view of people, be calm and secure in yourself, and have a good ability to work both independently and in a group. You should also be able to build relationships with others, be flexible, have a good approach, be easy to collaborate with, and be attentive to the client's needs.

You need to be proficient in the Swedish language in both speech and writing and have basic technical knowledge such as handling mobile phones, apps, and computers. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You have completed the Care and Nursing Program, and we prefer that you have several years of experience in similar tasks. Upon employment, you will need to provide proof of the right to use the professional title "Nursing Assistant".

A driving license (B) and cycling experience are required.
